Leonard Myles-Mills is the Track Assistant Coach at Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, Utah, USA.
He holds the Ghana record for the 100-meter dash.

Leonard was the Sportsman of the Year in 1989 and Athlete of the Year in 1991 at Accra Academy.

Leonard Myles-Mills has B.S. in Sociology from Brigham Young University, 1999. He is the younger brother of John Myles-Mills (Babylonia), one of the 80's Fearsome Five.

As espected Leonard has accomplished a lot in the field of sports. Notable achievements include the following:

Three All-America citations while running at BYU from 1996-1999
Four-time All-American
Won back-to-back NCAA Championship titles in the 100-meters (1998 and 1999).
In 1998 he took third in the 100-meter dash at the African Championships in Senegal.
In 1999, ran for BYU’s 400-meter relay team which finished third at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
In 1999 won the 60-meter dash, breaking the NCAA record, won the 100-meter and 200-meter dash, and anchored the first-place 4x100-meter relay team.

In 1999, he won first place at the All-African Games in Johannesburg.


In the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney he made it to the semi-finals of the 100-meter dash, finishing in ninth place overall.


Placed first in the 100-meter dash at the All-Africa Games in Johannesburg, South Africa 1999.
Set a new African indoor record in the 60 meters and is tied for fifth in the all-time male athlete record books for that time 1999.
Placed second at the All-Africa Games 2003.

In the 2004 Summer Olympics, Myles-Mills qualified and competed for Ghana in the 4x100-meter relay and 100-meter dash.

He is ranked second in the All-time top performers record books for the 100-meters.
He is on the first and second place 4x100-meter relay teams in the All-time top performers record books.
